Guy Henderson is a strategic communications & engagement consultant specializing in frontier & emerging markets.
Previously, Guy worked as an award-winning international news correspondent across Africa, Europe, the Middle East & Central Asia.
During a twenty year career in journalism, Guy worked in a range of roles at the BBC, Sky News, NBC, Al Jazeera and CGTN.
He led teams in conflict zones from Ukraine and Syria, to Libya and DRC; interviewed prime ministers, business leaders, icons – and many lesser known but just as inspiring folks in between. Summit floors became the norm – from Davos and the Munich Security Conference, to NATO, the G20, UN peace processes and BRICS. Guy covered the death of Nelson Mandela and spent two days with Archbishop Emiratus Desmond Tutu. He covered the refugee crisis and its fallout from the heart of Europe; Saudi Arabia’s reform programme, and the murder of Jamal Khassoggi from Istanbul. To name but a few.
Guy picked up a New York TV Festivals Award for a science documentary in 2022. And was a 2019 Asian Television Awards nominee for his Syria coverage.
